Just a quick headsup that Blender 3.6 was released last week.
I already love it for the one thing that bothered me with my multiple screen setup: before a window would accept input, you'd have to activate (click in) the window. That I often forget, and it leads to unnecessary mistakes.
In 3.6 this is no longer the case! yay!
The new parent space transformation option already is proving to be invaluable in my work. I'm unsure I could go back to a previous release without this! And the text tool finally behaves like a regular text editor in the 3d viewport. Also one of my fav improvements in 3.6.
I also noticed that exiting edit mode is (much) quicker than before. This release focuses on more performance improvements across the board, which is great to see.
UV mapping much improved as well and a slew of other improvements (as usual). Too much to list here. Watch the video below, or visit

for all the new and improved stuff.
Great,
I really need to get going with that version as well.
right now a bit busy though testing the new update for the daz bridge.
The VDM sculpting tools I look forward to.
