There may be some issues with the Daz 8 figures once exported to Embergen.
Genesis 3 figures seem to work with standard Lightwave joint style import.
The Genesis 8 figure seem to require either Lightwave bone style ( which make it a bit less nice to work with in layout) Or the best option I would say, use the Maya joint style fbx import, this one will work once exported to Embergen, the lightwave bone import as mentioned, will screw up the deformation in Embergen.
Also, if using ik booster on the daz figure 8, you have to remove a little different bones than the daz 3 figure, for IK booster to work correctly.
